The MTT Vacuum Casting Process for producing fast multiple prototype parts in Nylon PA6, PU based Vacuum Resins Epoxies and Wax

How this versatile process works


Prepare a master model and establish the parting line with tape.


Make a casting frame in ABS or chip board.


De-gas the MTT Silicone Rubber and pour around the model and leave to cure.


Remove the master model


Tape the silicone tool together and prepare for casting.

Choose the required casting module: for Nylons, Vacuum Resins, Epoxies or for wax.


The automated casting cycle fills the mold under vacuum.


After curing, de-mold the prototype part.


Produce multiples of exact prototypes in as many as 30 different materials - color matched or transparent, in injection molding quality.

From a model to a molding in as little as 4 to 6 hours !
From micro moldings to automotive bumpers with the same machine also produce wax moldings to manufacture high class metal parts using the lost wax, metal investment casting process*
