An electric, fully automatic, compact, injection moulding machine for high precision, low cost injection moulding in engineering thermoplastics. Fast, accurate and responsive, the MTT 12/90 HSE incorporates the very latest servo electric controls for beltless direct drive.
The clamp, screw and injection modules all use independent servo electric drives to provide the fastest and most responsive parameter profiling yet. For example, changeover time in the two stage injection head is in the order of 10 milli seconds and with mould close/open speeds of 250mm/second the time savings in this profile segment are up to 54%.
Added to this the MTT 12/90 HSE power consumption is 0.6 KW per hour providing the user with extremely low life cycle costs.
With a nine ton clamp force the MCP 12/90 HSE is designed for the manufacture of components from 0.02 grams in the most aggressive production environments.
Electric screw drive provides superb mixing of materials whilst infinite screw speed control provides the flexibility to process an even wider range of materials such as PEEK, PBT, PPS, ABS, Polycarbonate and glass filled Nylons, to name just a few.
Material conditioning is further improved by a four zone, closed loop, PID temperature control module with optional tool heating capacity and the unique integral hot tip that allows for runnerless moulding to minimise material waste and post mould handling operations.
Tool and material changes take as little as five minutes, significantly reducing down time, whilst the built in PLC control panel features a high resolution, colour, touch screen for easy parameter setting. Graphical display, full fault diagnosis and a handy 'HELP' facility makes the MTT 12/90 HSE 'Electric' a truly versatile and user friendly machine.
